Five confirmed store responsibilities

Bun Muen's official description confirms the station-management responsibilities below. It does not publish their exact timing, control scheme, revenue values, or optimal order.

RevenueSell enough products to meet the nightly quota. What is the quota and how is progress displayed?

A practical attention cycle

Because each shift is randomly generated, a rigid route may not survive contact with the public build. Use an attention cycle that asks what needs work instead of assuming a fixed map solution.

  1. Read the visible pressure. Check quota progress and immediate customer demand when the UI becomes verifiable.
  2. Protect customer processing. Avoid letting routine work erase the customer-verification step.
  3. Bundle nearby work. Combine stocking, cleaning, or delivery movement only when the launch layout supports it.
  4. Reassess after interruption. A suspicious customer or emergency phase resets priorities.
Editorial strategy, not a hidden mechanic

This cycle is a workload method built from confirmed tasks. It is not presented as a score multiplier, AI exploit, or guaranteed optimal route.

Solo and co-op workload

Solo players must alternate between store work and detective work. In a group, splitting attention can reduce omissions, but the official listing does not describe fixed jobs or character bonuses.

  • Solo: return to one short store scan after each completed customer interaction.
  • Two players: let one player maintain store visibility while both share the final evidence call.
  • Three players: use the third person as a flexible hand rather than assuming an unsupported specialist class.
  • Every team: say when a delivery, cleanup, or shelf task will temporarily interrupt customer checking.

Quota details still unresolved

The existence of a nightly quota is confirmed. Its amount, scaling, penalties, revenue formulas, product margins, and relationship to the 13-shift story are not stated in the official pre-release description. Those details will be added only after direct launch-build tests.
